About Me

My name is Matthew Ocando. I am 23 years old and currently reside in Calgary, Alberta for school. I am an engineering graduate from the University of Calgary, holding a degree in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Digital Engineering.

My passion for building, creating, and innovating has guided my academic decisions since I had the ability to make them independently. From a young age, tinkering with electronics around the house has been a pass-time of mine.

Engineering is a field that would allow me to combine my creative and logical thinking to solve real-world problems - a prospect which is both exciting and daunting, but one which I hope to face head-on in a future career. I consider myself to be someone who seeks intuitive ways to solve complex problems.
